From Africa to Berlin, Tlhonepho’s films draw inspiration from fine art, fashion, popular culture and music. She creates high-end visuals with strong narrative landscapes. With an eye for the story behind the story, Tlhonepho champions everyday heroes with pop star-level production value.

After graduating from film school with honours and an award, she spent a decade working for MTV, developing artist-driven campaigns in L.A, Madrid, Rotterdam, London and Cape Town. Her on-trend, in-tune, and in-touch work has been featured in Nowness, the Berlin Art Museum, Afropunk and CNN.
